Re: Your ILR

I had left the first box on payment pg (on page 3) blank because I was applying under Tier 1 general which was my last leave to remain. They didn’t object or ask me anything… 3B- first tick Sec 10G And in 6.1 I wrote the date when I first came to the UK (not a visa dt). I think this is how they c ...

I am in a similar situation, just rcived ILR and applying for registration for child's citizenship. But, just wanted to check whether my child is still under immigration restrictions, is that right? Also, any idea on what benifits/credits I could go for when the family income is not considered 'low ...

Ok, I got my answer… Spoke to immigration and Nationality both. They tossed me back and forth between the two help lines…Finally got my answer from immigration. The lady said since my daughter is born here, she has the right to be in this country. Between expiry of her visa and registration for c ...

Thanks dba_kkk When I asked Nationality how long would it take for the MN1 to be processed, he said 6 months. But, I have a feeling he was trying to scare me and he also added (after I gasped out of surprised) this is the time frame we are asked to give to everybody when they call with an inquiry ...

Thanks John, Yes, she was born in UK whilst we were on HSMP extension (Tier1). I can see that I dont have to have her on my ILR when I apply (next week) but I am also worried that her leave expires end of October. The process of getting the registration for Br citizenship looks like around 2.5 ...

Anyone else who has had similar issues? Did they consider aplying for child's ILR with their own? I am considering skipping to put her with our ILR and then apply for her registration (using MN1) when we get ILR ...but worried about her overstaying status...What legal issues are involved here? Thanks

Thank you for your response. Some further questions:

Her visa expires with mine on 20th Oct this year. What would be her status whilst we are waiting for these 3 months? Is this legal? Could she just stay here without a valid visa since she was born here?

Many thanks

I just reading that I don’t need to apply for her ILR since she will get her citizenship soon after we get ILR. Earlier, was t ...

I am also applying next Monday in Croydon and therefore was worried about not having police clearance. When I called, the lady on the phone line said if the form says police registration if you are asked to do…. If you are not asked, you don’t need! And she said that very reassuringly! For the li ...

Re: ILR granted after refusal 3 months ago - WP salary issue

Oh No! I dont have police registration certificate...I am applying next week.

In the Set (O) form under 10(A) it says...

Your police registration certificate if you have been asked to register with the police.

Thanks that is reassuring.
