do i need to sign on the housing benefit forms or not?

one of my friend said you can switch your ILR application to "applying in person"after paying them full fee. is it true? :-s is there any option like this?

i saw Housing benefit forms, there they asked couple details and declaration signs. is there any need to mention on the form that my wife is applying as a single person because on the form they didn't ask?

I lost my job because all of this and no salary is coming in my account, so will my unemployment status has effect on my ILR application?

I cant understand why UKBA replied that " They cant confirm this individual is entitled to work on the bases of the outstanding application." what is the meaning of "outstanding" term and why its used by UKBA? Can i know what is difference between ...
