Re: non EEA PR - requirement for private insurance?

I understand - indeed adding someone to a bill is not necessarily convincing - we only have a bank account on both names - for the rest we will need to come up with something else. I think also demonstrating the relationship is important as people can be married but plan to divorce just after the PR ...

Re: non EEA PR - requirement for private insurance?

Hello Thank you for the response. Could you please clarify what you mean with "I expect he has already qualified"? If you meant that I have qualified, yes, as I have a PR and I did not need CSI. Could you please also explain why it might be difficult to prove that he is in UK? He has his passport ...

EEA Permanent residency form

Hello I am an Italian citizen living in UK since 2010. I am hoping to apply for permanent residency via the EEA form, however I am not clear about the section on Absence. Am I correct in understanding that this should only be filled in for long term absences, such as working on oversea assignments ...

Hello, I am Italian. My husband (indonesian), who holds a residence card as EEA family member (and already traveled with me in European countries without VISA), is required to travel alone to join me in Italy at Christmas (I need to go there few days before him). WE booked a flight with ...

Thank you very much for your quick response and positive thoughts on our case. Sorry to be a pest, I still have the doubt, in the sense that the Judge did not state clearly that the appeal is in the Appealant favour, however he stated that the Appellant should be granted the VISA to enter, in his ...

Dear All, Following from previous posts on my Fiance appeal, the Appelant (my Fiance) has received yesterday a letter from the tribunal, which also contains the reveiw statements and conclusion of the judge. Therefore I beleive we are now in the phase: 'Appeal Allowed' as the Hearing has taken place ...

The point is that UKBA kept our originals, not the copies and really I beleive the should have returned them ...

VISA refused/documents not fully returned

Hello, We (my non EU fiance and I) have another issue - when the VISA for my fiance (Indonesian) was refused, UKBA did not return all the documents we provided as part of the VISA application. We had applied for a Fiance VISA. We did not realize they kept so much until we started thinking about the ...

@lucy_2011 not sure what terminology I should correct, what I wrote is what is stated in the letter we received. The appeal has been already lodged and should the ECM not change his mind, they will notify us on 4 June of the date. This is also what the customer service responded and what the ...

@ scan: sorry for the late response, we did receive a letter via the solicitor stating that we will hear back from them on 4th June. We wrote to the customer service email address last week and they responded that after the 4th June, should the decision not be overturned, it could take another 8 ...

the reason for refusal was that I, Italian citizen, did not provide a registration certificate for the UK.
The application is a fiance visa.

The deadline for the ECM is 11 weeks so they will let us know on 4 June when the appeal date will be.

Thank you

appeal process/fiance visa

Hello My fiance was refused a VISA on the basis that I (EU citizen) did not submit a registration certificate to be in UK. Jambo

Thank you, I ask as they listed it as one of the documents required...this is the information provided in Jakarta. I was very surprised as if someone has his own small business, it is a bit more difficult to prove, due to how it works in Indonesia.

Cheers!

Jumbo Thank you for your response, however skype records (not all of it, just the pages showing the date of calls, to prove we called everyday) is a way to prove the relationship, as we could not supply phone bills records. Certainly I agree with you, it is better to use a bit of rational and put ...

Jambo Thank you but I believe at the moment there is no point to argue with UKBA, they do not reason and the worse is that it is basically impossible to communicate with them - so if someone fills in sections saying "not required/EEA" it is probably just a way to irritate the officer. I will provide ...

Tina79,
I agree with you, it is better to provide evidence of the relation.
I have printed the skype record, you can do so up to 6 months.

Could you kindly tell me which embassy has refused the family permit?
Thank you and I hope it is resolved for you by now...

Indeed, this was also my understanding this is why I had provided other evidences (in accordance with UKBA webpage) but the officer refused the VISA. We have appealed but that could take a long time and even at this time, they might never respond. Therefore I need to know whether for the family ...
