sent the current and old passport, the life in the UK test results, and all the certificates gained (not required). Did send a letter when 3 months passed before I was invited for biometrics, but I don't think the letter made any difference because they sent the invite before they would have had the ...

IRL granted

Dear All, Sorry for not posting this sooner but I was granted IRL on April 4th. It's still sinking in but there is still pain from the torturous 8 months wait. 8 years on student visas and 2 years on post study work visa. No gaps due to travel and no penalties or criminal record. Best of luck for ...

I have seen the smshad's template, so no need to copy it for me. I think someone said we should put HO complaint number on skydive. Great idea and we should also put the MP and HO complaint letter templates. The way things stand right now, most of us will eventually need them.

Hi Andie_83, Could you be kind enough and post your template of the complaint letters, and the letter to the MP. Or if someone knows where the smshad's template is, that would do also. I have been quite busy and haven't followed the forum over the last month, so I don't know where they are. The ...

I think you can not get on international flights without a passport. I'm not sure about the Indian high commission, but they won't give you new documents unless the previous ones are lost, damaged or have expired. There is another person who had a family emergency, probably look 10 or more pages ...

Congrats and all the best wishes. If I could, I would definitely give you a medal for enduring 10.5 months of torture.

Re: Contradictory Stats from UKBA
Why are there discrepancies on UKBA's Stats for two different FOI requests with similar questions? Especially for September & October?

I think the figures are wrong, full stop. The Sep and Oct numbers don't follow any logical reason or pattern.

May I ask what's happened to your application. Did it go through or have they sent it back.

Hi Damanisshallo, Thanks, what those figures tell us is that on average there are 600 applications per month and that it is twice as much as it was between 2008 to 2010. What we should ask for is applications per each month, how many ILR were given each month over the last two years, how many ...
