if your wife is the eu-citizen applying for eea1 she also needs to send job application letters as proof...so not only proof of jsa registration.
did she do that?

you're right....i just checked...the next day special delivery will be redirected too (except that they dont garantuee that it will be delivered in 1 day if redirection is active)

yes redirection should work (unless they use your return envelope addressed to yourself and it's sent via "next day special delivery") fyi, for online address changes go here: https://contact-ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/aboutus/contact/changeAddress/update-my-details/ the reference number u type in there ...

ah ok....so thats why they ask for both nationality and country of issue (which in 99.99999% of cases will be the same i guess)

i wonder how many ppl did not get on their flight bacause they misinterpreted the question and answered wrongly.

what did you write in your letter?

seems to me they thought you need your passports back and your eea2 application is still being processed (can take upto 6 months to get coa)

why don't you call them and ask what the status of your application is.

ukba sent us a letter yesterday but we were not home....tried to pick it up today at delivery office but royalmail guy said it wasnt there (though it should be: 24 hours after offer at our house... we tried after 28 hours) royalmail delivery office then told us to try again tomorrow...weird....hope ...

ok that makes sense haha i'm worried now...they told us to wait 5 working days to get my wife's passport back as well. (they "made the request" when we called too......we also sent a special delivery letter asking her passport back, but they said it may take weeks before caseworkers read that letter ...

yes....just wait longer.
our eea2 was received 30 may....calling ukba did not help....july 27 our coa was issued and we received that in the mail one week later.
(all in all we waited for nearly 9 weeks for coa)
