I had a message from my MP today to say that the UKBA had contacted him & that my wife's visa was now being actively looked at, they would not say a timescale but we would hear shortly ref. decision. Been waiting since 7th March 2012, biometrics done end of June, we did put in a medical certificate ...

I have done a Google search regarding visa application times. Under the freedom of information act a solicitor ask UKBA the processing times for FLRM applications, they are duty bound to answer within 30 days I think it was, they stated that 95% of applications are done within three months. Have now done the Biometrics & according to the Post Office the details are sent straight to the UKBA via computer. Still sent a recorded letter to tell them we had no letter regarding Biometrics. Also let my MP know, they said to let them know if any further delays now. Will leave it for one month ...

Sent all my documents in on the 8th March 2012 received a letter confirming receipt on the 12th & they cashed the cheque & since then not a damned squeak.
