There's no requirement for you to be living together before the marriage, but you do need to show the intention to live together after the wedding. Thanks Carlyann & Casa. What if (just a fictitious situation), after our wedding we are still looking for a house to stay, how could we prove this ...

I didnt see anything in the Queens speech unless it was tucked into another bill. If its not in the Queens Speech its unlikely to go through in this session. it won't be a bill as the immigration rules are not primary or secondary legislation and changes to the rules are not subject to detailed ...

I read the Sunday Times last week and they interviewed Damien Green the Minister. He said that it is soon that they will put the proposal through Parliament but he didn't indicate the timeline.

I haven't applied yet but seeing people's problem waiting for a long time for postal application makes me think that I should apply in person...
