Just got an email from my solicitor and my passport and approval letter arrived today.

Sponsor passport returned

My sponsors passport was returned today via Royal Mail Special Delivery. We requested its return on January 18th, so the turn around time was 2 weeks which was quite good in my opinion. after waiting for 6 months for my FLR(M) decision, i ring UKBA to enquire about my application. apparently they are that busy they can't even answer the phone! UKBA currently advising you to ring back via a recorded msg and HAVEN'T EVEN GOT THE DECENCY TO ANSWER THE PHONE! I know. I have tried them ...

However, she informed me that 65% of FLR applications are completed within 6 weeks of biometrics while the other 35% are taking longer. Surely this is not reflective of the Skydrive and also what others have been told about a 6 month wait after biometrics? I hate that reading it gave me a little ...
