I rang UKVI and they said it could take up to 6 months for ILR application regardless if it is only replacement of lost brp
It’s very annoying.. As they don’t offer any priority service for this.. People can have emergencies to go out of country..

Applied on 03-Jan and waiting. Will let you know once i receive BRP. Not expecting until 1st of Jul (Assuming worst case of 6 months) I attended my biometrics appointment today in Peterborough. Finger crossed. A lot of people are getting their BRP within 6 weeks after biometrics so hope for good ...

Update: Yesterday (28th Jan 2024), I managed to have entry back using my older BRP (while my new BRP was already delivered to my UK home address). I noticed that the immigration officer only scanned my passport in her computer machine, and she was able to pull my details. Hence the new BRP details ...

Can you please tell me which airport you landed??
As I need to travel & applied for new BRP so old brp must be cancelled.
I was thinking I will be not able to re enter.

I am replacing my BPR of my ILR. After uploading the documents, there was an :!: sign in front of my name, suggesting "Applicants with this symbol have mandatory documents left to upload". Actually I have uploaded all files and there is a tick for each doc. Has anyone met similar problem? thanks ...

It is ridiculous though to unable to travel outside country just because the BRP Card is expired. They should have some provision for this as we got the permanent resident status.

I am in the same boat. Booked everything for April & lost BRP. Got an appointment in the end of Jan.
If you got ur BRP let me know how long it took.
