I was shaking as I opened the enveloped as I didn't receive any email or communication that my documents will be returned already. There was a letter inserted attached to my passport and at last after 3 ...

I sent lots of documents. I made two folders; one with 'main documents' and the other with 'supporting documents'. We didn't even have a single joint document. It was either hers or mine. Tenancy, water, gas, electricity, everything was on her name as I moved into her flat. The only documents on my ...

My stepfather passed away two months ago, I couldn't travel back home because I didn't have my passport ...

Re: EEA2 RC received for Unmarried Partner!

Hi All, as I learned a lot from this forum, I thought useful to give all of you my feedback. This is my timeline for EEA2 RC received yesterday, HO has been impressively quick for an unmarried partner application (which I understand normally takes longer given that the right of residence is not ...

Re: help plz

That is more than enough, tenancy agreement only applies for unmarried partners, in your case your marriage certificate is the proof of relationship and that you are a family member. My partner accepted a job here in Nov 2012 and I followed only June 2013. I submitted my RC application on 29 July ...

My situation is even worse. My first application was denied and my passport retained by UKBA. I reapplied and received a CoA with no right to work, even though being married, and they failed to acknoledge that they have my passport. I have complained, both through e-mail and post, but so far they ...

Dear Guru, I am sorry it took me a while to respond to your questions. The whole refusal thing really exhausted me so I thought I'd need a break from all the immigration drama. I took a few weeks to clear my head and now I'm back to answer your questions. We have traveled together to the Philippines ...

The fact that Bahrain Law forbids unmarried partners from living together is a very weighty factor that will be taken into account when you lodge an appeal, or on consideration by an ECM. Hi Obie, I spoke to our HR and they told me that they will give me a certification if it will help with my ...
