I did this exact thing. When I arrived at the test centre was the first i knew about it. The supervisor said that they would put a note on mu LIUK test file saying that the names were the wrong way around. I did not end up going for ILR in the end as I got an extension of my current visa. However I ...

Yes sorry. Got confused by miss reading the first line"My visa type is ILR"
However on a side note I was advised that it always helps to have the LiUK test done as it helps your application.

I applied for FLR(M) admittedly its not completely the same. However I broke my leg 1 month before I applied. So I wasn't working for these 4 weeks prior to my application and therefore did not have a payslip for the last 4 weeks. I just submitted the 6 months payslips previous that I had plus a ...

Your Husband will be unable to apply for ILR come this December because he has not spent 3 years in the UK. If he wants to apply for ILR he will need to extend his spouse visa and then in Nov 14 apply for ILR. So in regard to absences 1-2 months now will not affect his ILR application in Nov 14 That ...

Hi Pafink Have a look at this; http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/policyandlaw/immigrationlaw/immigrationrules/part9/ (11) where the applicant has previously contrived in a significant way to frustrate the intentions of the Rules by: (i) overstaying; or (ii) breaching a condition attached to his ...

My understanding is.
You can only be absent from the UK in the past 3 years by 270 days.
However in the past year you can only be absent for 90 days.
If you detail your husband's absences further someone may be able to help.

I read it to mean 375+ application fee. However £100 of that will be deducted at time of booking. Therefore on the day you will have to pay 275+application fee.
I understood this whole thing was stop multiple bookings!

Hi sufikardame, What would you like me to provide? My first FLR (M) application was fairly straight-forward. Obtained Certificate of approval. Had a civil marriage in a registry office (Dec 2010) Moved in together (Jan 2011) Applied through PEO Croydon and was approved (Mar 2011) Hope that is of use!

This sounds like a good plan to me. As long as you apply through FLR (m)
But remember that when you make your application you need to show that the two of you are living together. ie tenancy agreement.

I know that when I went about booking my appointment it took me 2 nights to get an appointment. The UKBA will always charge more for the same day service. Just makes sense to have £100 taken out at first stage. However I do worry about their whole website when the appointments are released. The UKBA ...

IMO this seems like a better way to go about it. Means that people will stop booking appointments at several different PEO's at a time and then deciding what one to go to.
Should mean that its easier to get an appointment!.

Hi All. If you see my application in the family members area you will see that I obtained a police caution in Nov 2011. Yes exactly.
After deliberation for many hours, I thought that it wasn't worth getting an refusal to my name!
I was very thankful to be in the position to be able to extend my current visa and go for ILR in December than try and risk it now.
Not worth the added stress.
