Hi everyone! I was wondering if anybody knows how long does it normally takes to receive EEA1? On UKBA website it says immediately residence certificate must be issued. And it said completely the same about COA. We have received COA after about 2 weeks since they have our documents, but not EEA1 yet ...
Thanks for your replies guys! I am now preparing all documents , hopefully next month will be ready. I don't know my hearing date yet. Will see what will I get first court date or decision on my second application.)
Hi everyone! I am wondering if anybody know please. My application for RC was denied because I couldn't provide valid passport. I went for appeal , but it takes loads of time, and my chances to win the appeal is quite low, I believe. http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?p=845129&highlight ...
If he hasn't got a passport then no chance of getting married anywhere in UK. Same goes with Isle of man or channel islands. But on Jersy register office website state that only birth sertificates needed from both partners. But i think they may not be able to buy ferry tickets as you probably need ...
I am not sure if I remember correctly but I think Diomond tried to marry British person in UK and was removed (I may be wrong). It is possible to get married with EEA national without being removed but this is not a guarantee. I think it depends if there is suspicion that marriage is of convenience ...
I know of somebody who had overstayed his visa and married in the UK, but he HAD a passport to show that he overstayed, that is crucially important. Without a passport, it is more difficult as the UKBA have no way of knowing whether the person is a terrorist, smuggler etc When my friend got married ...
I do not think there is a possibility of him getting married without a passport, get him to apply for his passport at his embassy, it is better for them to take things slowly at the moment. If they complete 2 years of relationship, he could apply as durable partner, as you said it's being over one ...

Hi thanks for your reply! But what about other options? Can they get married in church? Or maybe Jersey ot North Ireland is more safe for them. Please advise! Thanks for sharing our experience,Diomond. Can I ask you if they just deported you without giving any chance? I mean did they ask you to prove your relationships are genuine? Like test or maybe asked for your photoes together or like bills???? In their case I am sure the wouldn't go for this because ...
Thanks for your reply Diomond.
My friend is from Russia. And his girlfriend from Poland. What do you think? Did they arrest you in registration office on YOUR OWN WEDDING in front of friends and family?????
And did you manage to come back to UK after deportation. If yes how long did it take you?
Hi everyone! I was asking for help in this forum a while ago. And receive loads of help and support from people on this forum. Really want to thank you guys! Now I want to know what are you guys think about my friend situation. He overstayed his visa and lost his passport long time ago and lives ...
Hi Juss did you supply your driving lisence with your application?
Also I want to add that in my case the caseworker not just note that I have no right to appeal, but also that I have to make an arrangements to leave the country as soon as possible .
hi! I came here as a student in 2005 and was refused a visa in 2009 because not enough funds on my account. I lost the appeal. And after was leaving here illegally. Than I met my future wife in 2010 after leaving together for about 2 years we got married and applied for RC. my passport was 2 month ...
there is no other reasons just this. I think they didn't even open my application ,after 11 month they just check the passport and refused straight away . I am wondering what if I win the case will they ask me to send all paperwork back to them or they will have to grant the RC? But did they let you ...
