I was lucky to call my council on 5/01/14 and got ceremony booked for 11/01/14, asked me to bring just the letter , now a bit confused (which i should have asked which one) if the letter reqiured is the one from Home Office requiring to book ceremony or the council is supposed to write to me.

well, the approval finally came on 01/02/14, can't remember when it was dated. Glad to be over this hurdle!!

Acknowledgement letter came on the 20th dated 14th. I have sent an email and got the standard reply! I will have to request my passport back because I need it to apply to college and travel to out in march. The email said it won't effect my application but I am a bit weary.
