transfering money from India to UK

Hello,
We are on ILR visa in UK. and still hold indian resident bank account.

We are planning to purchase a property in Uk and want to bring a lump sum (more than 80K) from india.
Does anyone know - how to transfer money from India to UK?
I know there is 25K $ limit but is it per person per year OR per bank account?
Can we use parent's account to transfer money to us here?

I did some research on it- indian nationals can transfer 125K dollors legally per financial year (which runs from march-april -I think).
But you will need to contact bank in india to check the details. - not many people in india know this. I got this information from govt india website.
