Applying for ILR next year (2 employments) ?

Hi, My Tier 1 (E) visa is due to expire next year and the same month I will be eligible for ILR based on 10 years (next year). My question is, shall I hire two people for 12 months which is the requirements for extension? Is it still required for ILR based on 10 years ?

Would really appreciate your guys feedback.
