Employment Creation - Tricky Question.

Post by vfinancials » Sat Jan 31, 2015 1:32 am

Hi, I got my visa in January 2014 so I am under previous rules for employment creation. I have a tricky question here..

I have two employees each working at 25 hours a week. Now when it will come to job creation, will these two be considered as one full time employment or number of hours more than 30 hours can be added up to the second employment. As per my understanding by this point even if it will be 55 hours a week by two employees it will be considered as one job creation.

"91. EXAMPLES: We would consider the following as acceptable employment:
• The working hours of two part-time workers can be combined to add up to 30 hours a
week or more and form the equivalent of one full-time post."

Now as per above point I can add up these two employees to as one full time employment. Now my question is do I need to generate one full time employment for 24 months or 2 for 12 months OR (tricky point is here) two part time employees for 30 months or soever..
Bottom line do I have to complete [52x30]x2=3150 total numbers of hours in any shape or style or do I need to generate full time employment by adding up part time hours where even 50 hours for two employees will be considered as one Full time employment or having as the second example suggests where period where no employment there will not be counted as period meaning it has to be continuous full time..

Though I am not expert here [we all are in the same boat], I reckon
-Total annual hours will be divided by required amount of hrs (30)---total weeks/12---year, and pro rata basis can be declared
-Your accountant must declare at the end in his certificate to make it authenticated
