Evidence Flexibility more flexible than 245AA

In a helpful Court of Appeal guidance, it has been ruled that the Evidence Flexibility policy is widely extensive than 245AA of the immigration rules, and the tribunal erred in adopting a narrow approach.

Evidential flexibility policy is additional to the provisions of the Immigration Rules.

How likely is this decision to affect the actual processing of current cases? My application is currently being processed and I have seen that many people were rejected on similar grounds (missing or incomplete documents) by HO.
