There is no limitations to run multiple businesses. Make sure you are paying all taxes, paying wages (min/living wage), business registered.branch139 wrote:HI Everyone
I need some advice from expertise. I got tier 1 Ent. Visa from PSW on 50 K Route. I invested more then 20,000 and another 1 year left for another investment. all money in a business account. created employment. and business is running ok. and for this company I got my Visa.
but other ends I got second business on my name that just grocery shop. and this business I didn't used for visa or declared in my application. this second business just for extra income and I don't want to close this business.
so My Questions is am I allow doing more then 1 business. ?? my first business is perfect for visa extension but the second business level is not good for 50L Route. but I am do not gone use this business for visa extension.
can I run second business for just extra money? is that my all business need to be management Level??
Another point I want to add that after extension I need 4 months for 10-year ILR
Thank you, Everyone.
I learned something new from you that there as specific business levels on 50k route. Did not know that as I am 200ker. So maybe get verification from gurus (which I am most definitely not in any capacity)branch139 wrote:Thank you seasky for your helpful reply.
I paid all tax. both are a limited company . second company VAT Regi. and everything up to date.
I was just worried because my second Business is not level for a 50K route . someone advised me that I can only do management level business.
my first business is management level so I will apply for an extension with first Business . but second business is just retail so I will not use for extension but I will Explain in covering Letter.
second Business we just Started for extra money but worked well and done over 200,000 sales so I don't want to close my retail business.
thank you
This needs to be verified with the rules. As far as I see, there is nothing there to suggest this is applied to extension. This seems to be limited to the initial switch as I quickly looked up.branch139 wrote:Hi Zimba
Thank for reply.
I was searching on forum and found that Requierment is same for extension as my first application. So I can only get point for NQF Level 4 Business. But I can do second business and if second business is Retail then I can't claim point for second business which is dafinatly fine for me becouse I got my first business for claiming point.
This is somenone said in forum before.
"For extension of Tier 1 Entrepreneur under £50 Your business should have to be up to level 4 or above, YES you can do any other business like retail shops etc But as a second business & can not be considered for claiming points of Tier 1 Entrepreneur extension."
I hope this is right .
