II am delighted to let all the forum reader know Our Extension application has been approved but my brother who is partner team is still pending..

My timeline:

Applied: July 22, 2016
Received : July 25 2016 by Home office
Bio metrics: Aug 10, 2016
Health Surcharge Reimbursed - Sept 19 2016
Approval Letter Date: Sept 19, 2016
Letter Received along with all documents: Sept 23, 2016
Bio metric Card : 23 Sept 2016

Investment of Funds: 50K Share Capital

1) letter from Accountant , Accountant Practice Certificate
2) Company Accounts:
a) Management Accounts from Feb 2016 to 30 June 2016
b) Directors report and financial Statements for Three year
3) Letters from Bank Manager Confirming director and is active trading
4) Letter from Bank for Signatory of Account
5) Share Certificate

Setting Up Business:

6) Certificate of incorporation
7) IN01- Application to register a company
Certificate of VAT - Actually Not Required
9) Evidence of Business Premises - Lease Agreement
10) Certificate of Employer's Liability Insurance
11) Business Advertising Material
12) Business Contracts / Agreements

Currently Registered As Director

13) Current Appointment Report
14) AR01- Annual Return
15) Corporation Tax Document CT600 for last three year


Job Creation Requirement

16) Letter From Accountant for Verification of new jobs created
17) Letter from HMRC with Employer PAYE Reference
18) RTI Submission Full Signed by both director with stamp
19) RTI Payment Summary Signed by both director with company stamp
20) P32 Employer

21) Documents of Employer:

Copy of NI card , Passport , Contract of Employment , P11 Deduction Sheet , Payslip, P60, P11, P45 All Signed by Both Director

22) English Language Requirement : Though not required we were eligible because we have UK Degree shown at initial application


23) Maintenance Requirement :

Bank Statement : 90 days
Dependent Including Marriage Certificate

Additional Evidence;

Curriculum Vitae and Educational Certificates of Previous Education


Now lets come to my brother issue; HO send letter to my brother stating that his maintenance for bank statement was not 90 days, so due to Evidence Flexibility they allowed my brother to submit 15 days of bank statement which was missing and request us to send as soon as possible to respective case worker in Green Label which they provided, i know this is silly mistakes which occurs but lucky was my brother the case worker gave chance to provide, Just this morning we submitted the missing documents lets hope for the best,

I hope this is sufficient , some documents are not required but still Our Gurus will notify you, if please feel free to ask anything, i will help to communicate in this post so that other members will benefit too.

As you mention above yes we did show 25k ordinary shares value £1 each in business final accounts. These should be done by your accountant please make sure.

Thank you Nish.. It is business consultancy. I think if you change your business make sure you are director and not owned from someone else otherwise you won't qualify for investments. Let's wait for gurus view ..

As a business person you can switch from one business to another with out any issue, as long as you are meeting the criteria of investment and jobs which can be from in company or 5 companies (you have to be director), there has to be no issue. I am running multiple companies and also changed the business from which I initially applied, though got rejection because I missed to give DL and business bank statement, however they didnot say anything about multiple businesses and accepted that.

I'm on Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur and planning to switch to Tier 1 Entrepreneur in few days.
I have few questions, if you don't mind.

On item 1 you said letter from accountant, what do you mean by that? you mean accountant completion report or something else?

Second question that I have is that I have invested 50k as share capital too. So my question is where in accounts is your name? right next to the number and value of each share in the notes? I know you answered it in previous question but I am very worried. Could you please write the exact words that is shown under share capital section in your accounts?

Letter from Account : a) Accountant writing a letter and confirming how company has made investment and by which way
b) If you are investing through share capital, then make sure on Account completion Director report make sure all directors name are included stating how many share are allocated,

c) If you are Team member for applying make sure both directors name are included i know some documents only one directors name are fine but still Some application are being refused for not mentioning all directors name and Signature

Sample as follows

Principal activities
The principal activity of the company during the period under review is that of consultancy

i have shown on my accounts on note of capital share as:

I cant make a table in this post so on the part of question you asked supposed to look like this i cant make a table so..

Share issue Date / Issue From Date
Director name 1 ( Your name ) 25000
Director name 2 ( your Team Name) 25000

As you mention thats too correct:
Director 1 25000 shares nominal value 1£ each.
director 2 25000 shares nominal value 1£ each..

If shares are allocated to both of you of 50k so it should be Equal. for 50K investment make 25k and 25k to each other.
