Tier 1 General question (Company registration)

Hi Guys,

I do apologize if you think I am not clear with my question but I will try my best.

I am currently on tier 2 (General Visa) as a Software Engineer. I am planing to apply for the tier 1 business visa either on 200K route or 50K after approval of the funds. My question is while on tier 2 visa can I register a company in UK with my name or not.? So when I would be able to apply for the tier 1 visa I can simply show that company.
