Unaudited accounts for extension

Hello all

I shall be applying for extension in about 1.5 yrs time from now. As part of that we must be submitting unaudited accounts from accountant. My question is,

1. Does the unaudited accounts needs to be prepared for a full financial year only?Or can that be prepared until current time?

I.e if company FY is between july 2014 to june 2015. And lets say if now we are in feb 2015, Then can the accountant prepare unaudiited accounts for period till Feb2015 ? Or should we hav to wait until june 2015 before the accountant prepares?
