Call for "Genuine Earning Test" interview at Sheff

guys any idea how long it will take for the decision after interview ???i think no one got their result after interview...do u guys think they r still investigating or they will take all interview first then send it all together...pls guys put some light on it thanks ....praying GOD...

well, I applied on 30/08, bio 20/09 and haven't heard anything at all, no interview and no letters about new rules, no letters demanding further evidence, no calls, nothing.

maybe it's an exception of sorts, but I don't feel particularly lucky either at this point.

my guess as to the reasons is that I have a second extension based entirely on foreign earnings, and their whole interview thing is probably designed to deal with in-country earnings.

i'd much rather someone interviewed me, at least something would be happening.

There were still more deep questions related with my answers but all important questions I have mentioned above..

That’s why I was kept saying that use your brain as much as you can so that you will be able to give answer for most of the questions. At least you guys are lucky to have a guidance,, I was the first person for interview so that i didn't have any idea about questionnaire.

Yes . An old lady who was disabled. But ws still writing .

Not a single applicant who dose their inferview got visa? Or any one got? it I think they will send all together but dont know when? How long we have to wait for the decesion? Praying GOD....

After waiting for 8 months 5 day finally i have got my visa today. I applied in person on 13 March 2013, Called for interview on 24/10/2013 and received visa today. All those guys who have done with their interviews dont worry, soon you guys have good news as well In Sha ALLAH. Good luck every one.

Anyone who has had an interview with UKBA on self-employment earnings, did UKBA officials approach the interview in a check-list manner (i.e. they simply take your answers to each of their questions and move on to the next one) or was it more probing (i.e. your story is being assessed holistically and each answer is probed with follow-on questions to probe for inconsistencies)?
Did you feel the people doing the questioning where trained for that sort of role?

I will be grateful for any advise you can offer.

hi there, it depends on case to case and objections raised by your case worker, it could be simple questions either and probing kinda questions with follow on questions too, but one thing to keep in mind, they are trained staff and they are there to find out the in consistencies, as they will start with brief intro and later examine that with th eevidences you submitted.

Guys..With really disappointed manner I have to say that again I have received a refusal today....

Hi All,
I know it is a wrong forum to seek help but i thought it worth asking. I am going to apply for my 2nd Tier1 Extension. My case is quite straight forward. I have completed all the documents. My question is here that when they will deduct my fee my account balance will be negative. I have already submitted 92 days maintenance fund. Can it be affected on my Application?

My 2nd question is that I am going to skip my uk born child extension as we don't have any plan to go outside the country until next year (My ILR due). Is there any impact on my Application or ILR application if I don't include my child, although she has been granted visa as my dependent.

Your advice will be much appreciated.

That's really very disappointing news
But don't loose hope and seek some professional advice from some solicitor, I am sure you might be having some more avenues still need to be exhausted. also may I ask you what reasons did they give you for refusal?
