Clarification please

Post by Meeran » Mon Jan 25, 2016 6:18 pm

We are going to apply for ILR in the month of June and I got 8 months old baby. I'm just confused that whether I need to apply for her passport before ILR or after ILR please.

Not much can happen until at least one parent has ILR for UK.

Where was child born? (if born abroad, child will need ILR too)
What is status of other parent? (if not BC, ILR will be required)

If your child is born in the UK, then you do not need to apply for the child's ILR.

Once you or your wife get ILR you can apply for the Childs Citizenship.
