Dependants after main applicant's ILR status

Post by singhald » Mon Feb 01, 2016 3:01 pm

Hi,

I got my ILR (via Tier 1 general route) in Jan 2016. MY wife and kids are still on PBS dependent (Tier 1 general dependents) and their visa is valid until March 2017. I am wondering if their current visa is still valid ? If yes, can they stay on this VISA until its expiry or have to apply for ILR?

Thanks

Their visas are still valid. They can stay or extend their existing visa until they qualify for ILR.

I had similar questions and doubts. My husband recently travelled outside UK and entered back in UK without any issues on his dependent visa after I got my ILR.
