Dependent English Test

HI
I would like to know if PET exam Level A2 is acceptable for the dependent English requirement, I have seen the UKBA approved test and minimum requirements states for PET from A2, but I came to know from someone that level B1 is minimum , thus could anyone please let me know the minimum level for PET exam.
