How early can I apply for Tier 1 general extension?

Hi All,

With this new rules stopping us from applying to extend the Tier 1 general, I am just wondering how early can I go for my extension now? Is there any rule/clause anywhere which specifies the limit before which we cannot apply for an extension.

This is very important for me now because I have my visa till Oct 2015 but would need another extension as I am short of around 15-20 days (came almost after 105 days or so).
I have to go for extension anyways so was just thinking would go this year Aug or Sep.

You can apply 6 months to 1 yr be4 your visa expires.you can see in previous posts.

you can apply anytime you like. My visa was expiring in march 2014 and i applied in feb 2013.

you can apply any time, considering you have enough points other requirements.
