Landlord letter--needed?

Post by edocohen » Sun Nov 09, 2008 4:31 pm

Hi people

My wife will be applying as my dependent (tier 1 general)
I managed to have new tenancy agreement (Assured Shorthold tenancy for Furnished flat) with my landlord whereby my wife is a joint tenant (she signed the contract while she was visiting me).

I was wondering if we still need a letter from the landlord for any other reason.

Please your help is needed

Thanks

No..not required....since she is your dependent and will stay with you....no seperate letter will be required.

Great, just make sure that your accomodation is not overcrowded. All the best.

Thanks for your help, however how can i show that it is not overcrowded?
The contract says I am renting a flat ((Assured Shorthold tenancy for Furnished FLAT)). Is that sufficient? Or do i need something else?

Thanks in advance
