LIst of documents for dependent

Dear All
We will be applying for dependent visa in start of Feb. AFter reading guidance notes and forum topics, i have concluded for the following mandatory documents:-

1. Court Marriage Certificate , Delhi Magistrate ( we haven't done religious wedding)
2. TB certificate for dependent
3. Bank statement of tier 1 migrant for 3 months ( 600 for her + 900 for me)
4. Copy of my passport and BRP card.
5. 3 months payslips
6. council tax for property on my name plus mortgage letter
7. sponsorship letter from main applicant

Please share your views if am missing anything.

It looks OK but try to put some wedding pics plus and evidence of subsistence like chat/email and phone bills if you live in the UK and your partner in back home.

With reference to list of documents mentioned above. I have a query about Point 6.
I live in a shared accommodation and my landlord has given me letter stating that he has no objection in my husband living me and tenancy agreement is on my name. Is this proof sufficient for accommodation ? I do not have any utility bills on my name as its included in rent. Please provide your suggestions.

Accomodation proof is not a requirement, it is only to prove subsistence. So if you have joint utility bills, it is helpful. You can also submit bank statements to the Same address.

If you have not been living together then you can submit proof ofcommunication such as Skype calls chat Conversations
emails etc.

Is English test required for dependent visa. I am on Tier 1 (General) until Jun 2015. and applying for my wife in Jan 2015. Please correct me if English test is required e.g Esol A1?

English is not a requirement for applying for a dependent visa, but is a requirement for settlement (ILR).

I will suggest you put an evidence of having an accomodation in place(e.g council tax, bills etc) though not a requirement but its safer!

So is sl.no...5,6and 7 are not required... in the above..

3. maintenance funds, bank statement showing funds above 630 GBP if main applicant stayed more than 12 months in UK.
