Tier 1- Dependent from India

Hello experts,

I have to bring my wife from india in the end of march'15 from india.
Im on tier1 general visa.

She might apply from hyderabad or Chennai VFS office.
i wish to know the following
1) is there a fast track process for tier1 dependent application ? i can see in VFS website about fast track process (as in same day), however i dont think that applies to tier 1 general dependent category?? If not what is the minimum waiting time?

2) when i gothrogh the VFS website for india i understand that we have to pay first in Ukvisas website and based on that you need to book an appointment in VFS office for submission of documents. did anyone go through this process, if so can you please elaborate this?
