I am going for ILR (by appointment) on 24 Sep 2015.
My wife' s visa is about to expire on 10 Oct 2015, which I am planning to extend after my ILR.

If you are applying for ILR based on 5 years of Tier 1, then your wife can extend on the PBS Dependent form and she will have to pay the health surcharge as well.

How long has your wife been in the UK as your dependant?

She is with me as my dependent since June 2013. approx 2 years and 2 months.
and Yes I am applying ILR based on 5 years of Tier 1.

I was looking through PBS depend form. I come across this questions.

M5; Under which category of the Points Based System has the main applicant applied?

and there is list of categories. which dosnt include ILR. how should I answer that question?

You select the category you were in before ILR.

Hi Latif,

I hope you can extend your wife's visa as a tier 1 dependent, I am pretty much in the same situation, I have explained in here

I dont know which path to select

Will you first apply for ILR and then apply for your wife's extension?
or
Will you apply to ILR and extention to your wife's visa at the same time?

And another issue is according to this
You can apply to settle as a Tier 1 (General) worker until 6 April 2018
Your wife get her visa on June 2013 which means 5 years will be finished by June 2018 and it is later than the deadline for applying to settlement

Have you investigated this issue?

Hello,
Once you get your ILR then you will use PBS dep form to extend your wife visa to complete 5 years etc. Will you use your account for her maintenance or will you present her own statements ?

Also does the UKVI accepts the saving account statements for maintenance funds ?

THanks
