Visitor visa

I have applied for visitor visa from Hyderabad(India) on 14th Feb 2014. Status is still 'Under process with BHC'. I have mailed to chennai visa enquiry and thay said that I need to attend an Interview and VFS will contact me with suitable Date and Time for the Interview. I did not receive any call from VFS.

If any one had such experieince can you let me know how long VFS will take to schdule an Interview. It has been 23 working days since I have applied for visa.

Strange even when i sent them a mail asking information they asked me to come for personal interview!!

have you got any call from VFS till now? pls can you advise when did you rcv the mail and when was the interview conducted, what questions did they ask and when was the decision taken ?

Wow i have applied on 28th feb from bangalore and sent them mail on 19th mar and got the same reply ! i contacted vfs who said high commission will send us the list of candidates and we will then call you to schedule the time

Hmm not sure how long they will take to schedule. Waiting

from the posts i believe last interviews were scheduled on 4th March thus now i think it would be 1st / 4th or 8th april !! when did you rcv the mail for the interview ?

Will they conduct interviews monthly once?
Where in the board did u get to know that last interview wad conducted on 4th march?

hi buddy search Interview Chennai and you would see the links some people claimed to attend the interview on 4th mar after that i have not seen anybody claiming to went for interview!

did you try to send another mail asking them when can you expect a call from VFS for scheduling interview since its already been 15 days since you got the mail?

people who have got a call to attend interview on 4th march have made their applications in Dec 2013. why did BHC/VfS take 3 months to set up an interview.Not sure when will they schedule ours

What i have observed is...those who made their applications in Dec 2013 end and in Jan were called for interview in March. Since we made our application in Feb we should get our call in April.

Yeah thats why i said it should be around 8th April but i wont be surprised if they call us by end of april !

let me know when you get a reply but i believe we all would be required to attend the interview on the same day ! i had travelled to more then 20 countries including UK even got work permit earlier and never been called for any interview had always followed laws and always spoke truth about anything and everything so i am sure they wont refuse my visa but dont know how much time they are going to take

Hmm ok... nov2013 applicants are also called on march2014. Not sure if they are conducting quaterly..in that case it will be june

have sent them a mail asking for the info on time line and got a reply asking me to wait and the concern department would contact me automatically to fix the interview! what about you? got any mail?

I dont think any feb applicants got a call? Problem is there are no specific timelines

i have applied for visitor visa and I have submitted all the docs. I think I will carry my recent bank statements. They have asked me to carry a copy of their mail that is all.

I received a call this afternoon stating that my interview is scheduled for 9th of April at Chennai

My interview went fine. All questions were on my/my husband's financial status. They were checking if i will be back after visa expiry.
After interview caseworker said that he will get back with his decision in 5 working days. Eagerly waiting for the reply:)
