Appropriate rate of pay for WP migrant

Hi,

l'm a Work permit holder granted May 2006 and never changed to another catergory and have been working at the same company for nearly 5 years now. I can not find appropriate rate in code of conduct.
Do I still have to find the close code? It looks It's unfair if i'm not eligible to get ILR after 5 years after they granted WP at the salary rate I was and I get more than before obviously.

Any good advice from all of you
