Employer License renewal is pending but dates are updated

Hi folks,

My employer submitted their Tier 2 (A Rating) licence for renewal on December since it was going to expire on February 2 2017.

They have been keeping a track of the application and the Licence Key Dates has been updated to the following:

Licence start date: 03 Feb 2013
Licence end date: 02 Feb 2021
Licence renewal opening date: 08 November 2020

Also on Tier 2(General) there is an additional date:

Expiry date(use by): 02 April 2016

Now what is confusing us is that the Application status is still pending. Has the licence been renewed or is that some sort of mistake?

And I renewed my Tier 2 visa with the same employer a year ago and have it until 2019. If and when the licence is renewed, will I need re-apply? I don't think so but just trying to make sure.

The renewal of licence is mere payment of renewal fee. As soon as u do it, the date changes to another 4 years in future.

Thank you for the reply. I guess we are a bit confused on why it still says Application Status as Pending when the dates have already changed. I guess we will just wait it out.
