Exemption from Residence Labour Market Test??

Hi,
My husband is currently under Tier 1(PSW) dependant. He is employed in a permanent position within a UK company for over a year. He now wants to apply for Tier 2 General. I would like to know if he would be eligible for exemption from the residence labour market test? Many Thanks

No, and he would also need to apply for entry clearance from outside the UK.
