Can anyone tell me how much does it cost for Tier 2 Extension for Dependent (General), when submitted along with the main applicant?

In my case, my partner's company is paying her visa fee and I am just wondering how much does it cost for myself and my newborn baby.

Thanks in advance.
How many years 3 or 5?
Thanks for the quick reply. Previously we have recieved 3 years visa, so I think they will grant for another 3 years, if i am right. please give your inputs. thanks.

here is answer of your question
https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general
Hi Khurram, Thanks for the quick reply. I have gone through the application as well.
i am confused between the following fees categories. please help.

Tier 2 General, ICT Long Term Staff, Sport & MOR - up to 3 years leave to
remain £601
Tier 2 ICT Short Term Staff, Graduate Trainee or Skills Transfer £428
Tier 2 General, ICT Long Term Staff – over 3 years leave to remain £1,202

If you are Tier 2 G and seeking for 3 years Extension then all applicants (regardless main or dependant ) must pay £601 per person

Hi all,

I applied tier 2 general visa (5 years)which switch from tier 4. After bio metric given ,home office sent me a letter saying decision will be late

"this is because of we are awaiting for a response from another government department or agency to verify some of the information or documents you have given to us "

Does anybody know , which kind of checks they are doing , and how long does it take?

Thanks !

@sssmmm i have experinced that HO is taking extra time for decision for those who are switching from tier 4 student.
I am also switching from tier 4 an HO has taken 2months but still no response.
Has anyone here got Tier 2 visa ( switching from tier 4 student). It would be helpful for us.

1. Type of application: Tier 2 General (Change of Employer) - 5 Year Visa
2. If switching, category changing (switching) from : Tier 2 General
3. Date of expiry of current leave: 02/01/2016
4. Number of dependants applying at same time: 1
5. Rating of sponsor : A
6. SOC: 2137
7. Location: Poole
8. Application method: Postal
9. Date application posted: 11/08/2014
10. Date application received at HO : 12/08/2014
11. Date payment debited: 14/8/2014
12. Payment mode : Cheque
13. Acknowledgement letter received: 23rd August 2014
14. Biometric letter received: 28th August 2014 (letter dated 26th August 2014)
15. Date of biometrics enrolment: 30th August 2014
16. Date of approval: 11/09/2014
17. Date of return of passport and other documents: 15/09/2014
18. Date (new) leave to remain valid from : 11/09/2014
19. Date BRP received: 15/09/2014

I would like to mention it to everyone that the CoS status changing from Assigned to "Used" is very much a sign that your visa has been approved and if you notice, most of the people have their CoS status changed and approval date on the same date (my and Khurram's case). According to caseworker guidance, they should not be changing the status to "Used" if they plan to reject the application. So good luck to all the applicants and hope you get your visas soon as well.

Shukr Alhumdulillah :)

@Shakeel

it can only be checked in Sponsorship Management System (employer/sponsor used it to manage your CoS) every CoS has status , ask your employer the status of your CoS (current against which you applied)

1. Type of application: (Switching / Extending) : Extending Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer beyond 3 years
2. If switching, category changing (switching) from : Not switchin, Just extending Tier 2 ICT long term
3. Date of expiry of current leave: 9-Sep-2014
4. Number of dependants applying at same time: 0
5. Date application posted: 15-Aug-2014, Applied online, Sent documents on 16-Aug-2014
6. Date application received at UKBA: Documents would have reached UKBA around 18-Aug-2014
7. Date payment debited: 18-Aug-2014
8. Payment mode : Online
9. Acknowledgement letter received: No specific acknowledgement letter. Directly received a letter for Biometric.
10. Biometric letter received: 22-Aug-2014
11. Date of biometrics enrolment: 23-Aug-2014
12. Date of approval: Waiting
13. Date of return of passport and other documents: Waiting
14. Date (new) leave to remain valid from: waiting
15. Date BRP received: Waiting

Question:
I would appreciate if someone can let me know what is the typical processing time these days for for Tier 2 ICT extension beyond 3 years ?

I have not heard from UKIV for last 4 weeks after completing biometric. So am bit anxious as my current leave has now expired while waiting for the update.

Any advise would help.

Many thanks

It varies from case to case. you ask your sponsor to check your CoS status ? is it still assigned or status marked as USED
