@MK4
Can you please tell me when did you first apply under Tier 2 ICT?

My visa is also up for renewal and I came to the UK on August 30 2010. I would like to know if I too can apply for a 5 year extension.

Thank You

I first came on 14 July 2010. The 5 year extension as far as I am aware depends on your company. They need to agree with you to create a new CoS for 5 years and the fees are extra as well more than double. Apart from these two factors if you fit all the other criteria and if you have a simple case there should be no reason you can't apply for a 5 year extension.

Hi Muraliky. Congratulations on your visa. Have you checked, while waiting for your visa, if your IHS refund option disappeared? I haven't received my documents yet and I'm worried but I have no IHS refund option when I log in.
Many thanks

Hello RG1981,

Yes that's correct. While they are processing the application, the refund option disappears in the IHS page. Even I don't have the refund option anymore. Murakily should most probably have that refund option back again now (I hope), now that he has received his documents and approval letter.

I didn't have 'Refund' option while my application was being processed or now. I think you should see the refund option only when your application gets rejected for any reason!!

Congratulations sharfuddin. Did your IHS option remain the same as well i.e. no refund option? There are no hints on when you will receive your decision, so I'm just trying to see if there is a pattern :)

Hi all,
I finally got my visa and passport back today. What a relief. It's been horrible 5 weeks. This is my timeline:
Type of application: Tier 2 Extension
2. If switching, category changing (switching) from: N/A
3. Date of expiry of current leave: 15/10/2015
4. Number of dependents applying at same time: 0
5. Rating of sponsor: A
6. Application method: Online
7. Submitted Application: 14/07/2015
8. Date application posted: 14/07/2015
9. Date application received at HO: 15/07/2015
10. Date payment debited: 14/07/2015
11. Payment mode: Debit Card
12. Acknowledgement Letter Issue date : 16/07/2015
13. Acknowledgement letter received: 20/07/2015
14. BM letter issue date: 16/07/2015
15. Biometric letter received: 20/07/15
16. Date of biometric enrollment: 21/07/15
17. Date of approval: 14/08/2015
18. Date of return of passport and other documents: 18/08/2015
19. Date (new) leave to remain valid until: 10/11/2016
20. Date BRP received: 18/08/2015

I received my passport and BRP card in the same day, two different envelopes. The refund IHS option disappeared during the processing of the visa (5 weeks).
Best of luck to all,
RG1981
