2. If switching, category changing (switching) from: NA
3. Date of expiry of current leave: 15/11/16
4. Number of dependents applying at same time: 1
5. Application method: Standard Postal

10. Payment mode: Debit Card
11. Acknowledgement Letter Issue date: 06/10/2016
12. Acknowledgement letter received: 07/10/2016
13. BM letter issue date: 06/10/2016

18. Date (new) leave to remain valid until: 01/10/2019
19. Date BRP received: 28/02/2017

It took 5 months (21 weeks) for the approval. My company director sent several letters to HO but no reply. He did contact MP twice but no reply and then he contacted Home secretary on 14th Feb 2017 where all the case information was provided over the phone. Letter was received from HO on 15th Feb 2017 asking about complete description of my job title. The reply was sent within 3 days and case was approved on 24th Feb 2017.

What a shame that for 19 weeks HO did not even looked my file or write to my employer. I was not even sent a letter from HO that case is complex or not even informed that your case will not be decided in 8 weeks the only letter we had after biometrics was on 14th Feb which was sent to my company.

It's been more than 8 weeks already and still didn't get any decision on my application. Each time I'm calling them they say "it's still under consideration". I didn't get any letters saying there are issues with my application.

Any ideas what I should do to get my documents faster? I was trying to upgrade to Premium but they didn't let me as it's not SET visa.
