New Company

Post by sidharth1987 » Sat Dec 03, 2016 11:30 pm

Hi All,

I'm on Tier 2 gen visa, sponsored by an Ltd company. Have been offered a weekend (contracting) role by another company. The job is same as my current employment. Do I have to work on this new job through my sponsor, or can I setup my limited company and bill through it ?

No freelancing!

Tier 2 workers are only able to work in a second job (on PAYE basis) if their main place of work is their Tier 2 sponsor and the second job is in the same sector and at the same level as their main job for up to 20 hours per week. This does not include freelance work or working on a contract basis.
