PBS Dependant : Marriage Certificate

Dear all,

In tamilnadu, there are 2 marriage certificates that are issued.

1. Hindu Marriage Certificate - this does not have any photographs
2. Tamilnadu Marriage Certificate - this one has photographs of bride & groom

Which one of these would be acceptable for PBS Tier 2 Dependant Visa issued in India?

At present I dont have any.. I am getting married on the 6th.. What I have been informed is that the Hindu Marriage certificate is issued within a day. However the tamilnadu certificate can take upto a week to arrive and unfortunately I dont have the luxury of time..

Congratulations on your wedding. I am afraid the guidance doesn't say anything other than Marriage Certificate. Who issues the Hindu Marriage Certificate and is it in English?

FYI, I submitted a hindu marriage certificate (original) with my application three years back, and it was accepted by UKBA without any issues. It did not have any photographs/digital image on it.
