SOC Codes and Salary

Post by shubhendra » Tue Apr 22, 2014 10:29 am

Hello,

-> I am on PSW and my company has agreed to sponsor me for Tier 2 General.
-> My previous contract with the company working as self-employed shows £24,000 per year.
-> The best SOC Code that suites my profile is 2136 (Programmers and software development professionals) (with Salary rates: New entrant: £22,800 / Experienced: £29,600)
-> Although I am experienced I am getting 24k from the company.
-> I am confused with my application if I should show £22,800, £24,000 or £29,600
-> I also doubt if my company will increase my salary to £29,600 and I don't want to decrease my salary to £22,800

What can be the best solution?

I trust this place because I have had good solutions to my problems before.
Thanks in advance.
