SOC Codes and Tier 2 Visa Policy

Post by alijameel » Sun Feb 19, 2017 1:12 pm

Hi all,

According to the SOC Codes the salary for 2137 is 23400 but according to new policy guidance, it has to be 30000 in April. So why they haven't changed in the SOC list yet? Secondly, if I get my COS before 6th of April and apply after 6th of April do I need 25000 or 30000 salary?

Thanks

The SOC code salaries are based on data from ONS.

You have to submit your application before 6th April. It is not relevant when the COS was allocated. Any submission after 6th would require 30k salary.
