Tier 2 ICT Resignation

Hi,

I am in Tier 2 ICT LT visa and my visa expires on 20-Apr-2016. I am planning to resign my current job and looking for Tier 2 General jobs.

1. Am I supposed to resign my current job relates to Tier 2 ICT LT.
2. If so how long I can stay in UK ?
3. Can I search for Tier 2 General jobs if some one is ready to offer a sponsorship.

Kindly help on my queries please.

If you applied for the visa after April 6, 2011, you will need to serve a 12 month cooling off period in another country...
