If your college T4 licence has revoked, HO will write to you and after within 60 days you both must apply for new T4 permission;

Best Luck!

If your college gets revoked during the time you are out of the country you will be refused entry on your return to the UK.

It really depends on the university whether they are ready to give you an admission on the MBA course. From what i know and what is known already about the situation is that getting an admission with a little problem with the immigration history is a very problematic process.

however if you had completed or had sufficient progress to convince the university that you had made a progression, there are chances of you getting the admission. but be prepared as it will not be an easy task.

the best idea is to get in touch with universities asap to see what they say.

i would suggest u to find a new sponsor /college as soon as possible and then inform them

if u do nothing and just wait and sit to see if they send u something will put u in trouble.u r very much aware that ur college has revoked so there licence is terminated ,so u have no valid sponsor
get new cas as soon as possible

new changes

Post by sagill » Wed Aug 26, 2015 2:04 am

hi every one,

i need my senior advice regarding new changes in tier 4 visa.
my question is that when a change starts to effect the application ? the date when you submit application or date when you are granted a visa?
suppose an change will start apply on 4th September 2015 ,and some one submits application on 28 august 2015,this application will be dealt according to old policy or according to new policy?
i just want to know which date home office consider?the date when application is made or date when visa is granted to implement the new change?

sorry for poor communication.

regards

Normally it depends on date of your application and not grant of visa.

For a change in the immigration rules, the default is that an application decided on or after the date of the change is subject to the new rule, regardless of when the application was made. But there is often protection for people who have already applied. A Statement of Changes in the Immigration Rules specifies on the first page when the changes will take place, and whether there is protection for those who apply before the date of the change.

If it is a change in the sponsor guidance, not the rules, that normally affects a decision based a CAS issued on or after that date. For example the recent change that someone who does not have Academic Progression must apply for a new visa in their home country affects all CAS issued on or after 10 August 2015.
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.

I am going to apply for extension on another level 7 course. I did MBA and now I am going to apply for MSc Pharmacology (as I am having a undergraduate degree in pharmacy). According to new guidelines, my sponsor has to prove academic progression based on category a or b:

. If your new course is at the same level as the previous course, it may
exceptionally be considered to represent academic progression if your
sponsor is an HEI with Tier 4 Sponsor status which is teaching the
course and:
a. the new course is related to the previous course for which you were
given Tier 4 leave (meaning that it is either connected to the
previous course, part of the same subject group or involves deeper
specialisation); or
b. your previous and new course combined, support your career
aspirations.

Is it fine for me apply for extension provided that my sponsor justify academic progression or I need to go back my home country and make fresh application?
Moreover, can my sponsor provide both a or b in justification, as my undergraduate degree is supporting my new level 7 course not MBA for which I was granted leave to study?

Kind Regards

I'll let one of my colleagues answer the progression question, though I must askyou as someone working in HE Compliance, what level of ACCA did you study after your Masters? Was it equivilent to MPhil or Masters level, and at what college?

Not sure what the relevance of the level of their studies is? If OP is moving from ACCA to a PhD, it would be clear academic progression, and the cap is not relevant.

Whether OP can switch in the UK will depend on who sponsored his current Tier 4 leave, whether he applies before or after 12 November 2015, and whether his leave has been curtailed yet or not. See http://www.ukcisa.org.uk/International- ... in-the-UK/

See the link in my previous reply, which explains who can apply in the UK. There are changes from 12 November 2015 for people whose current sponsor is not an HEI or pathway college, which I imagine is your situation.
