Need Suggestion to shift from Tier 4 to Carer Visa

Post by pin4matics » Sat Nov 28, 2015 8:49 pm

Dear All:
I need urgent suggestion/advice.

I came to UK in 2012 on Tier 4 Visa for Level 5 College Diploma studies.
My First College Closed after that I received 60 days curtailment letter. I applied for new college and got visa till March 2016.
Now one of the British national here wants me stay here as his carer. He is ready to sponsor me. This british national is Disabled and on PIP. Can I apply for a VISA? if Yes which category ?.
Please suggest me as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

There is no 'carer visa'. What is your relationship to this person?

Dear CR001:
Thanks for reply.
He is my Family Friend, his age is above 60. Right now his Son is his carer, but he wants me to replace him.
Currently I am already involved in taking care of him.
Hope this informations helps you.
Please ask if you need any further information.

There is no visa available for what you are thinking of doing. Given that this person has immediate family and that the UK has a care system, it is unlikely even if there was a visa that you would be successful.

If you wish to stay in the UK, you will need to find one of the other tougher visas to qualify for.

If you qualify, you could look at :

Tier 2 General - you need an approved sponsoring employer for this one.
Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa - investment of either £50k or £200k.
Tier 1 Investor visa - substantial investments in the millions

Do you have a British partner or partner who has ILR etc.?
