Hello Everyone,
I made the tier 4 General visa Application at VAC Islamabad on 27th of September and today is the 14th working day. Processing time in Pakistan is 15 working days. Shall I email the ukvi to know about the status of my application or shall wait till tommorow. Also I haven't received any email from ukvi regarding any delay in processing my visa application. I would request the senior members of the board to advise me on this. Thank you

The published processing time isn't guaranteed. It's only a guideline.

Dear Shahrukh,
I haven't got any email yet. I got just one email when I submitted the case. After that I haven't received any email. I spoke with the uni and they told me that my 15 working days will end tommorow and if I don't get a response by tommorow then they will contact the homeoffice.

Did your university said you that they will
contact the embassy by themselves or you will be going to contact the embassy.
Which university are you going and what is your latest arrival date.
I am also in same situation as you are. Dont get any relpy from them .got three email from Sheffield visa section.
1)was documents arrived
And
2) other were Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.
Really worried.

I have taken admission in Phd. Latest date of arrival is 28 October 2016. The university said they will contact the homeoffice.

Hope you will be doing good. I wanted to let you know that I have emailed Ukvi and also told the university to contact Ukvi as my 15 working days are ending today. I will surely let you know when I hear something back from the homeoffice. Have you got any update?

Just wanted to give an updated regarding my application. I emailed Ukvi in the morning regarding the status of my application just got an email stating that the application has been processed and will be with me in the next few days.

You already have your Tier 4 sponsor liaising with the Home Office on your behalf. I do not recommend that you start emailing them yourself too.

Just wanted to give an update regarding my visa Application. I was called by gerry yesterday to collect documents. I went today and Alhamdulillah Ukvi granted me the visa. I would like to thank the members of this forum for their help and assistance.
