Yes it is possible. I did it 2 years ago when I was made redundant. Once the company informs UKVI about the change and stops sponsoring you, UKVI will send you a 60 days letter to make a new application or leave the country. Between that time if you can find an institution that can enrol you and issue you a CAS, you'll be fine.
You will obviously need to check if you're still eligible for a course and haven't exceeded the study cap rules.

Yes you can switch to tier 4. University will be calculating your CAP. and you have to prove that you want to genuinely study and just give good personal statement to University. These days universities check from UKVI about your overall time line as a student as according to new rules there is 5 years CAP up to level 7 course.

So just make sure you do your home work before applying to uni and the reason why you want to do 2nd master. and why u swicthing from tier 2 to tier 4 again.

Hi, I was under in Tier 4 from 2007 till 2012 which is 5 years, so is that means I can't apply for anymore Tier 4 Visa?

i am afraid yes you can not but there is no harm in applying in universities. but home office will highly be refusing based on 5 years cap
