Visa Refused for Making False Representation

Post by atif_butt » Thu Apr 30, 2009 1:20 pm

I was refused PSW six months ago for making false representation.I did not state on application form that I have previously been refused to leave to remain with HO one-year Ago.However, there was no deception involoved at that time.

Now my question is that Am I still eligible to apply for student visa or I have now got an entry ban of 10-years.

All replies will be highly appreciated

Thanks in anticipation.

The immigration rules state this about deception:
"Grounds on which leave to remain in the United Kingdom is to be refused
(1) the fact that variation of leave to enter or remain is being sought for a purpose not covered by these Rules.

(1A) where false representations have been made or false documents or information have been submitted (whether or not material to the application, and whether or not to the applicant's knowledge), or material facts have not been disclosed, in relation to the application.
Immigration Rules Part 9 (general grounds for refusal)

You may want to get legal advice before you make an application.

Have you left the UK?
