Work experience mention in UK Tier app

Is work experience assessed in tier 4 visa? IF so, why?

My course was assessed based on my degree qualification since im doing a master in a technical degree.

I am applying from india.

I have a similar issue.

DO i have to provide all the work experience certificates?

I am working in the MIddle east although I am now on a work visa for over 5 years now. In the past I spent 5 months working in the MIddle East. I mentioned this 6 month experience in ATAS but since this short period of experience was just an informal work experience where I was allowed just to get acquainted with my trade and I do not have any documents to corroborate that neither anyone in the company can vouch for that, I doubt, if they call them..

Would this be an issue?

I don't know where you are getting your information, but none of these things are relevant to a Tier 4 application!

My worry may be unwarranted. After the 5 months, I was unemployed for a year until I landed a job. I spent this time preparing for some competitive exams. I was just worried how a year gap could be justified.

I have one last query.

Could year gaps be a problem? After graduation there is an year gap of 1.5 years before I took up a full time job. Will this be assessed/considered a criterion towards visa application? I spent this time preparing/taking for competitive government exams and took classes in software applications like proE and CATIA.

Do I have to show anything about my current employment? Is it even relevant?
