Please, help! Dual citizenship applying for esta

I just recently acquired my British passport as a naturalised British citizen. I am planning to apply for visa waiver (esta) to America and on the esta form, is asking for other citizenship which is Nigeria, is it compulsory I must complete that section even though I am using my British passport for application?. I have never applied for us visa in my life. I just want to keep things simple. If I don't complete that section will this cause a problem for me?
