Withdrawal of Application for Admission

Post by jchoo » Wed Feb 05, 2014 5:17 am

I'm a Canadian citizen and in Sept 2012 I was offered an Withdrawal of Application for Admission at the airport by an US customs border officer and I accepted. Is this considered a denial into the US? Is this record on my file now?

It will be on your US record, but is not considered a denial because you're withdrawing the application - and are not being ordered for removal. However, if you do try to re-enter the US, you will want to ensure you comply with any directions given by the Border Agent at the time of your Withdrawal Application.
